Pop-Up Nairobi began as a hobby, cooking delicious brunch to raise money for school scholarships. Many of those that volunteered as staff at the first event also tutor at ROCK on weekends. A total of 140,000 shillings has been donated to ROCK Kenya (Reaching out with compassion in Kibera) to send members to high school.
The Pop-Up signature dish, Corn Fritter Stack, was first served at the initial brunch at Cafe Rouge in March 2014. It has since remained on our brunch menu’s with other items changing at each event.
